Seat Gap?

After taking off and putting on my seat, i noticed there is a little gap in the back, Never noticed it before. is this normal?

If you're speaking of the rider seat... There should be a gap, but you shouldn't be able to pick the rear end of the seat up at all (practically no wiggle). If you're talking about the pillion seat, then yah, gap is normal

Mine used to fit snug; however after removing and replacing the thing so many times it has become a bit loose.

I also noticed that I lost one of the little rubber stops on the bottom. I have been meaning to put more rubber there to see if that solves the wobble.

Even though they appear to be fully inserted, they are not. Kawasaki isn't fully installing them on the manufacturing line. They started adding glue in late 2008 shipments when they became aware of the problem. You need to twist and twist and twist to get them to go all the way in. I got warranty replacements from the dealer and replaced both in the first week. I used my helmet hooks daily for the next 4 years and they never fell off again even though I did not use glue.

Anyway, the gap on the seat is for the helmet strap when using the helmet hooks. Case closed.
