I'm in for 2017. For odometer pics, see my ending photos for the 2016 Mileage contest. Sorry, I'm old and not tech savvy.

Anyway, starting mileage for 2017 is as follows:

12 Ninja 250 = 35,479 mi

07 BMW F800S = 53,624 mi

14 Moto Guzzi V7 Stone = 49,227 mi

16 Triumph Street Triple Rx = 4,264 mi

Howdy Cadd.

Yes, I'm on one motorcycle or the other just about every weekday commuting to work, which is a 100 mile round trip.

On the weekends, I go riding to relax!

I actually did buy the Rx version of the Street Triple. I fixed my prior post to make that change.

Everyone will think I'm crazy (or just an old geezer)---but so far, I'm still liking my little small block Moto Guzzi more than the crazy fast Street Triple. Maybe just need to bond with the Triumph more.

We need a mileage contest for dedicated race/track bikes!

Then rather than a contest for droning rides on the road, it's for the highest quality miles.

Why cant you track it here?

Most of my miles were on Sierra passes, narrow twisty state routes, backcountry byways, unpaved mining trails, and remote goat roads.

Track riders just go in circles.

Miles is miles, whether someone uses their bike for commuting or on the Dakar. The point is to get out and ride; however, whenever, and wherever a rider can. It's all quality when on two wheels.

Serenity

Phoenix

This might change, due to the instrument cluster is weather damaged, and most likely be replaced for Phoenix.

I happen to be in Dallas right now, technically, yes, it's snowing, but come on, it's not even sticking to anything.

Ok, looks like I did a total of 22,254 miles for the year 2017.

2012 Ninja 250 started 2017 with 35,479 miles and ended with 37,553 for a total of 2,074 miles.

2007 BMW F800S started with 53,624 and ended with 54,289 for a total of 665 miles.

2016 Triumph Street Triple Rx started with 4,264 miles and ended with 7,342.

And then my favorite bike, a 2013 Moto Guzzi V7 Stone, started with 49,227 and ended with 65,665 for a total of 16,438 miles.

I didn't take a picture a year ago. But the Sportster had 5,400 miles on it when it was registered on December 27th 2016, so it didn't have too much more than that 4 days later.

19,200 on it now, so just under 14,000 miles. Since I might have put a tank of gas through the bike in the 4 days after I registered it, I'll call it 13,500 miles for the year.
