found a cheap pregen in WI
Found this on Craigslist while posting my 09 for sale. Looks like a possible deal for someone short on cash just looking to ride, or anyone looking for a pregen. Might be worth a short drive.

One thing I learned after buying my first bike off CL is that "runs great" means absolutely nothing.
Sure, my bike got to my house just fine and it looked in great running condition but within a week it needed carbs rebuilt, valves adjusted (which I haven't gotten to yet), petcock rebuilt, and a number of other small things. $$  $$My rule is to expect to always pay the bike's price plus half to get it in good running order. |

Sucks to hear about all the problems your having. Just posted because it may be a possible deal. If you follow DIY's of this site you could fix most of your issues for next to nothing. Your going to have those kinds of problems with a lot of bikes that are ten plus years old.

Yeah. I would say. If the bike checked out fine. 600 dollars for a running bike would be a great deal. Touch up the fairing damage and your down the road for 800 tax title and plate/registration

If it starts and runs without any banging noises from the crankcase I'd buy it now. Around here, that bike would sell for double that, easy.
