I think I am turning Japanese!

Last night, I found myself using a peculiar tool in my garage.. I was taking the right rear apart to unspiral the rear brake switch wires after I adjusted the switch, and dropped one of the hex fasteners in the narrow space behind my battery. I tried to use a magnetic tool but they do not freakin' respond to magnetism. After thinking for a minute, I went to the kitchen and grabbed a set of chopsticks out of the drawer. After a few tries I got it out, but I wondered what I looked like sitting there with a pair of chopsticks reaching into my Ninja, moving them around like I was stirring noodles!

The right chopstick could be a decent allen/hex wrench in a pinch. The local shop uses a six-sided chopstick that had me wondering aloud if they carried one in a 5mm.

we used to use chopsticks working on multi million dollar pieces of equipment at work. when doing alignments, if you should drop a washer in the chassis, wooden chopsticks are the best tools to use... non magnetic, non conducting pick up sticks. yes, we did the alignments on live equipment and no, we didn't want to turn the equipment off due to heating ovens which kept heat sensitive oscillators stable which took hours to stabilize.

btw, explain to me whats wrong with being Japanese????

Nothing is rong with the Japanese, or Chinese, or anyone of Asian origin! They have georgeous women, badass cars, tech out the wazoo, and Kawasaki! I was making a reference to an annoying song played in movies during the 90's. Hey, the chopsticks worked, and I didn't have to tear the battery out! Much props to them for the impromptu garage tool!

Had chinese food takeout for dinner from the local shop with the 6 sided chopsticks. Size = 4.3 mm. Too small for the 5mm hex bolt, too big for the 4. They have a bigger size they use for dine in, hope is alive for 5mm Ninjette chopstick/allen wrench. Just thought I'd report in. My wife thinks I'm crazy, btw.

Right on! And they have my favorite foods. I went to Pei Wei Sunday and tried the Korean barbeque-I want to go back. I like sushi, fried rice with soy sauce, shrimp eggrolls...good food. And they do have georgeous women-Asian and black women are my favorite.
