Cool!
What's the beam-pattern like on those lights? DOT spot-pattern like flashlight? Or real e-code with cut-off?

Haven’t had it inspected yet and if it doesn’t pass I will throw a dot approved headlight on. They are a wide beam 30% spot. Top I’d hb and bottom is day running. I have them wired into a H4 socket - plugs right in. I will have to check beam pattern on the garage door. Also using a Garmin for the speedo not sure they will like that either.

What year first gen is it? In VA at 25yrs old you can get antique tags and are exempt from inspection.

Edit: If it's the 05 in your sig then nevermind lol.

One aspect of this build I most like is there is no plastic. Fenders, side panels, and even hand controls are all aluminum.

definitely different.
i likes!
curious as to how you mounted the handlebars though.
did you fab up some mounts to use the stock mounting holes or did you drill and tap the top triple for the handlebar mounts?

thinking that it would look better for my son's cafe build.

also, where did you get the controls?

Drilled straight through the triple tree- secured with a large nut underneath. Got the controls off fleabay and traced out and resoldered every wire also modified a pit bike throttle cable to work with it

I sold it weeks ago. The tank is off a Honda quad fourtrax. Needed some work to get it to fit right and the seat is the stock one with the rear cut off and reattached to the front. Again lots of riveting, extra bracing gluing and shaping the foam to fit.

Nice bike!! I'm currently dismantling a project and restoring it right now. What handlebar is that and where did you find the adapters? Thanks for the share!
