wiring harness and pregen cdi

Ok i just purchased an 89 cdi off ebay, now do i have to get an 89 wiring harness or will anything fromm 88-94 work? Help!

Any harness from 88-94 will work; however, you will still need to adapt the wire ends, per my guide to fit the +08.

It makes me smile too! I love not having a rev limit...

My tach still reads 6000 RPM at 50 MPH in 6th gear, whether it's 0 degrees or 110 degrees outside. I can't believe it runs so well with a 24 year old CDI!!
