Do you ride your commute to work with a buddy?

Anyone here commute to work with a buddies? That's two people two bikes every day. I've cycling the 30 miles of back roads to work a lot this past month and I always get passed by the same two sportbikes riding together to what I can only assume is work seeing it's 3:30am. I put my finger i=on why but it just seems a little unusual to see two people commuting together on motorcycles. I mean what are the chances two riders from the same area both work in and same area or place and both start work before 5am?

The bike that's always in front sounds like a WOT lawn mover so it could be a 250 and the rider in back is on and older 600-1000. I like to imagine the rider on the bigger bike mentored the other rider into getting a bike so he or she could show them the ropes and have a little company out in the dark.

For 6 years I worked a job with my best friend, we lived about 2 blocks apart, we both rode bikes to work. I had a CBR1100XX and he had a VTR1000. That ended 14 years ago.

I have a co-worker that works 3AM to 1PM. He leaves home about 2:15AM to get to work.

Happens a lot in the military. Lots of us going to the same place at the same time and generally live around each other.

when i commuted to work on the moto, almost every day i would come up on this guy... no idea his name, where he worked, or lived. all i knew about him was he rode an FJR and wore yellow with a white shoei. we took the same route down the 5 into san diego and rode about the same speed through traffic. he went further than i did, so every day we parted ways with a wave. i'm sure we looked like we were commuting together, but it just happened to be coincidence. sorta miss that dude
