[motorcycle.com] - Found On Kickstarter: MirrorLok

The MirrorLok was nearly passed over as yet another moto-trinket to add to the list of semi-useful gadgets found on Kickstarter-type websites. However, when considering the decreasing number of motorcycles with helmet locks, maybe this idea shouldn’t be brushed off so quickly. What do you think?

Begin Press Release:

Al Jesse Launches Mirror Lok: Smart Motorcycle Accessory Now On Kickstarter

Al Jesse’s new company, Moto Manufacturing, is launching Mirror Lok: a multi-functional tool that extends motorcycle mirrors, minimizes the blur created by mirror vibration, and offers a safe lock to secure a helmet and riding gear on the motorcycle. Currently, Mirror Lok is available on Kickstarter as part of the launch campaign.

“Riding a motorcycle is all about freedom and adventure, but there’s a few areas where stock motorcycles are seriously lacking – and we’re fixing them all with just one smart tool! Very often, stock motorcycle mirrors don’t offer a perfect view, vibrate at high speeds creating a blur, and are too far in so your view is partially blocked by your own shoulder. Mirror Lok solves all of these problems – plus it works as a lock to keep your helmet and riding jacket safe while you’re off the bike”, – explains Al Jesse, founder and inventor at Moto Manufacturing.

Mirror Lok is made from machined aluminum, making it sturdy and reliable but keeping it elegant with a black powder coat finish. Mirror-Lok is oval-shaped with smooth, rounded edges, and measures 1″x3″x1″ weighing 3 ounces.*Currently, Mirror Lok is being featured on Kickstarter and is up for grabs for those who are looking to get it first at a better price!

“We chose a Kickstarter launch because Mirror Lok is a completely new product, and this type of smart, multi-functional tool does really well on crowdfunding platforms. We’re hoping to reach our funding goal soon and start manufacturing Mirror Lok in large quantities – but for those who want to get it first, Kickstarter is the best place right now! Show us your support, and get your Mirror Lok now”, – says Al Jesse.

Mirror Lok Kickstarter campaign will run until March 1. More information and first Mirror Lok products here.
