250R Mileage Check!!

Just checking to see how many miles you guys/gals have on your bikes. Multiple entries over time welcomed... sort of a mileage log and also to see who's riding their bike and who's not.

So, come on and post... it's always interesting to see how many and how few miles some bikes have.

year of bike: 2008

date purchased: march08

present mileage as of today: 1913 (yes, that's my mileage and not my year of birth! )

I haven't been able to "ride to work" vs "ride to ride". At the moment I don't have a way to carry anything, ie back pack or larger tank bag. The tank bag I have is good, is just too small to carry anything much.

NB.

If you need more capacity, try adding a tail bag along with the tank bag. I use a tail bag when I ride to work.

Unless, of course, you need to carry really big/heavy stuff that just won't fit on the bike.

I rolled over 6000 yesterday

Bought in April. I had about a 2-3 month period in there with no riding due to repairs.

5300 on the ninjette, we bought it with 1100 miles on it in May so that's 4200 of our own. Not a heck of a lot, but in that same period I've put on at least 15k miles on the other 2 bikes. It's been a good riding year.

So assuming you purchased it on March 31, that's 7.9 miles per day. You've so far averaged 13.4 posts per day on this board, for a posts/mile ratio of 1.7. By no means should you post less, but gosh darn it start riding that thing Kelly!

lol... the standing joke is that my bike spends more time with the fairings off than on and that the bike only gets ridden to test out the mods!

Bike is a 2008 purchased at the end of June

Currently has just under 2k miles on it but I don't remember exactly. I also put about 2k miles on the old gen before getting rid of it for the new one.

Purchased end of Aug/beginning of Sept. (I'll look up the date) with 492 miles on it.

Currently at about 5100miles. Probably 5300 by the end of the week.

Tony, I love the look of your bike! Looks clean for the age. I have a soft spot for all 80's and early 90's sport bikes. A very BAD soft spot.

My 08' 250R (fiances daily ride) has 3000km +or- 500. I really cannot remember. It has been in storage since October. Its been a hard year with snow. Several feet of it everywhere.

954 miles on it ...Go to school far away from my bike so I only really get to ride it on breaks...but when I do I make it count. Put on almost 40 miles today and almost 200 since ive been back on break...and its only been about 5 days . The rate I'm going though I wont have to check my valves for another 6 years...
