hotbodies undertail/BM integrated tail light question???

does anyone know if there is a way to use the turn signals on the bike monkey integrated tail light with the turn signals on the hotbodies undertail? i called a local bike shopwith this question...and was told that this cannot be done...and if it was that it would be a lot of work....i don't know much about lighting, but it seems like there may be some kind of splitter or something to wire both???

Stay far away from that bike shop. You could have 1 or 50 lights all wired to one turn signal.

All you need to do is connect both of the left side lights to the original left turn signal wire, and both right side lights to the original right turn signal wire. You will also need to change your flasher relay.

nope..if it is working right now, splicing another signal in shouldn't effect it.

Question

Hey welcome2thedawn

Did you end up wiring those led indicators on the undertail up aswell?

I have proton flushmounts, a BM intergrated tail light and just bought a hotbodies undertail and was wondering the same thing about running the LED indicators on the undertail aswell as the others but was not sure if i could.

Cheers

I've been seriously considering this as the small turn signals I've got came undone on a long ride. I think I like this idea quite a bit... we'll see how money goes...lol.

Glad to see you got it working.. IMO those Hot Bodies turn signals are weak.

hmmmmmm....what the heck happened? bike has been put away for the winter...I got it started, was kinda checking everything out...and my rear signals are now blinking opposite of the front...I know it's not my imagination...I have some videos of them working fine last year...I hope that there is a logical explanation....weird
