You're calling out a guy who's ridden for 2 months. That's ballz

I sent you a PM. Read it. And read this thread again.

Or if you're lazy, here's "cliff's notes of what I actually said" : "I see how Adrian and HB is riding. I see how real pro's are riding and I see how you're riding. To me, Adrian and HB seems to have a better body position. But don't quote me on that cause I'm not experienced I just evaluate from what I've heard/seen from pros so far."

F*ck I even apologized for coming off as an a$$ in that PM.

If you're looking for a race with me on GMR, you'll wait a loooooooong (eternity) time buddy And I'm surprised cause I thought you don't compete with anyone. Guess that changed in a couple of days.

Take care.

I know you didn't mean disrespect, Gurk, but the way it's coming off sounds like you're telling KC that he can't ride, so I don't blame him for being offended. Let's just drop it, though. This is just a pointless argument that could potentially make future SoCal Tech Days very awkward.

But yeah. I'm over this. I apologized a few days ago. Never got a reply instead I got his post today on this thread. I don't get it. But it's alright. I don't hold anything against anyone. Still love ya'll including KC.

I think I missed something here...

When did things become about 1upmanship and stop being about having a good time, learning from each other, and riding our bikes?

I'll wait 364 days to ride an R6.

Met a former high school classmate earlier today. He's got an '02 R6. He offered to let me take it for a quick ride, but I declined (didn't have gear). Maybe next time.
How did you like the new R6, Max?

Our 250s are slow as balls haha. It was a blast. The riding position is definitely more forward and sporty which took some getting used to. It's not as comfortable as a ninja and I can see how longer rides would be taxing, especially on your back. It also got very hot, at least way more than our(my?) ninja does. A guy that worked for them said an indiciated 198 degrees was normal though.

That being said once you started getting throttle control down it was awesome. That thing had plenty of power when I needed it and revved up quick! I didn't feel a whole lot of lag in the bottom end of the revs, though I didn't really have a chance to rev past 12k (redline at 17) anyway. The brakes are definitely more powerful, comforting and a little scary at the same time given I wasn't used to it. It was a much higher position too so it was a little weird putting my feet down as I felt a little more like it was falling, though it was just a longer distance downward. All in all I really enjoyed it and think I could get past most of my qualms with a little more riding practice on it.

Hahaha

Yeah, I don't understand how people start their riding lives on super sports. I've never ridden anything more powerful than my 250R, but if given the chance, I don't know if I'd be able to. I'm still too noobish. I know you're supposed to be light with the throttle and extremely careful with the front brakes, but the power of these bikes sounds intimidating.
Hopefully I'll be able to ride a 600cc+ bike someday during one of these dealer hosted events.

Just don't be afraid of it man, know your skill level and know what you need to do. You can't be afraid of these things or you'll scare yourself too much to focus.

First time I got on a 600, i only had the 250 for three months, i went 110 But I'm kinda a crazy kid lol

If you just have throttle control then its fine, just dont do anything too far out of your comfort level. But if you never try you will never know, you know? lol

The R6 was beast, so much power and torque, it lagged at low speed/rpm and handled like a POS in stop and go traffic but once you were at some kind of speed it was ****ing beast, Snapped in and out like a champ and powering out of turns was insanely fun. An aggressive 1st to 2nd shift will lift the front wheel up (ask me how i know) and it will power wheelie pretty easily as the engine revs up so damn fast. . It has a very aggressive stance more so then the 636 and zx6 i sat on though i didn't ride the 636.

I give the R6 two enthusiastic thumbs up.

I am in no position to speak on KCs form or anything related but I will say this: Watching the guy ride is fun as hell and he's clearly having the time of his life on that bike. He knows how to handle himself and seems to be pretty safe and that's what matters. I'm excited to see him ride again

I told you guys winter was coming too.

Now look it was pourin rain all day. When it's all clear I bet you money we see snow..

bye bye idyllwild. Peace out Baldy. Hellooooo dirty GMR.

See you guys when I get back off the big mountain. I got snow gear and fishing to do.
When the winter comes my vacation begins.

Next time I say winter is coming, you know I mean it. I know how to read the animals. I am a fisherman and outdoorsman amongst all the stupid million other things I do.

I always have to go and get a new bike before winter. =P

We missed ACH!

Now it looks like we'll be left up to Malibu... and maybe Palomar.

Ride up before it gets too crazy, we had a weird weather year this year. I expect it to keep being weird.

How about a tech day then a track day?

No matter how much I like riding, I HATE seeing people go way too fast in the canyons. Allow me to rephrase this: I HATE seeing people get wiped out of this life because they want to take unnecessary risks in the wrong places. Lost a best friend, almost lost another, lost a fellow racer, and am tired of seeing it happen.

If you've never been to the track, there is an offer on SocalMoto.org for a FREE, yes, FREE track day: http://www.socalmoto.org/forum/showthread.php?t=14814

I can offer some loaner gear, a ride to the track in the truck, all you need AT the track, all you gotta do is apply there, make it to the track and in the future ride like a sensible human being with a sense of self preservation in the mountains. The scenery is better appreciated at a slower pace, we live in a beautiful part of the world.

The reason for the free track day: http://www.socalmoto.org/forum/showthread.php?t=14786

KC, Honey Badger and I have been talking about track day in the future. I appreciate your hospitality Rexbo.....I too have seen too much that happens in the canyons.

I ride canyons a lot and as much as I ride it I LOVE it soooooooo much. I too want to love the track...so we need to set up a tech day then track day.

Sorry to hear about your friends....you are correct about life and our world. Today I rode GMR for 2 hours.....all alone.....and it was amazing.

Where r u in LA? I grew up in LA.

You guys want to see how fast I really am? You asked for it.

I hardly have to lean my bike at all to drag a knee.. but if you want to see speed, so be it. Let me know when you're on your way up there. I want to see pictures of you riding it in my dust.

It would be a dream to make it ride out there on the west coast. I'll do a ride halfway across America one day.

I was actually going the speed limit. You'll note one complaint from the video was I Was going slower than everyone else.
That's why everyone cries.
Because I know how to drag knee at the speed limit without crashing, even though it's not correct racing form.

I can drag knees down to 5mph all day without crashing because I know how to do it without crashing because I practice it very very often. I ride stunts. I'm not going to listen to people who refuse to understand that. IMO they are ignorant. I'm riding safer than someone who is trying to go as fast as they can through there.

Sure, I can go fast too but I don't have anything to prove to you people.
My bike is way more important. A few of you know damn well how fast I'm capable of going and chose not to. Jet, you haven't seen half my speed.

I'm sure I'll eventually see you all at the track, if you can keep your track buddies off my ass long enough. I have a busy life outside here and that's no joke. The way I like to ride my bikes I will eventually be forced to ride at the track anyways because I'm getting faster and faster.

I'm still not going to fawk around and race people when I do get to the track. Practice only.
Again, my bike is more important to me. I have wanted this bike for many years and I'm not ruining it for any one of you.

What happened to people who don't have to be giving you shyt every time you turn around?
Kinda getting old. I wouldn't have to go fast to beat a noob anyways.

So far you kept it right side up in the twisties lol.

I think you should stay away from any Rockstore rides we do.
You drop your bike on a harley and you'll get us all killed lololol

Just giving you crap man.
