Scored Free Indy MotoGP Tickets!

I was visiting with my mom the other day and she was telling me about a lady hitting her car at the grocery store. Then, she said "That reminds me...would you be interested in some tickets for that grand prix thing? I got 4 free ones for shopping at Kroger." After I registered what exactly she was talking about, I jumped right on the offer, and she said they should be coming in the mail soon. She texted me today to let me know I should have gotten them in the mail, and sure enough, they were waiting on me when I got home.

I was expecting some general admission tickets, and I would have been fine with that, but there was a kicker- they're $90 reserved seats!

I know it's not exactly an amazing story, but it made my day, and I know we can all use some happy news once in a while.

Stop by and visit me in the MotoList pits with all the other XR1200 racers. I'll be on track both Saturday and Sunday afternoon racing.

And, lemme know if you want to sell off a couple of those tix for a bro-deal. Nice score!

Awesome! I'll see if I can track you down. As for the tickets, I'm pretty sure they are all spoken-for already.

Yeah sure, just let me know when and where. I'll be at the track all three days from opening to closing gates! And definitely downtown Indy on Friday and Saturday night.

It's too bad we couldn't throw something together

I think it was probably a little short notice for all of us to try and catch each other on here and come up with something.

I did run into Neil (sharky nrk) at Richard's (RaceBikeRentals) pit. It was very nice meeting you, Richard. It was pretty cool to kind of know someone who was out on the track. And Neil, it was good seeing you again (even though you didn't recognize my bearded-ness lol).

To the rest of you who live in the area, how would everyone feel about getting together for some other kind of meetup? If there is some interest, we can start another thread.
