where the hell did this word come from??? i was curious so i went searching.
google tells me:

The term is well known in the sport touring community.

An enthusiast may be in the process of "farkling". The completed motorcycle would be all "farkled up". I think the relative measure of farkleness is inversely proportional to the particular modification's general usefulness. The more useless, the more farklish it becomes.

i heard real bar tassels have steel pellets in the end of each tassel to make breaking windows while you're riding easier... i wonder if they make those kind in green and pink though???
