Looking for a integrated taillight and found
So I was about to order a Bikelitez integrated taillight when I came across these
motodynamic http://www.motodynamic.com/product_i...roducts_id=227 Who has experience with these? Are they bright enough, or at leads as bright as stock? Any pros/cons or any comparison with the Bikelitez ones? Thanks for the heads up!!

Just placed my order...I will install these this week and let you guys know how they are. As long as the LED is bright I can't see any issue with these.

I believe a modulator would let you do the sequential thing that you wanted? But idk, haven't gotten an integrated one yet -.-

Well I got my taillight today and installed it...SUPER EASY..no cutting required, all plug n play. Done within 20 min if you don't run into any problem like I did see below and you won't have any issues
If you have the bike master flushmounts which come with 23w bulbs you HAVE TO replace the bulbs with 10W or else the sequential turn signals will not work...found this out the hard way after a hour and then finally a call to motodynamics. Also if you have after market LED front turn signals you have to make sure you have the correct resistors installed. If you have stock front turn signals, you are all good to go and should have these put in in under 20 min Here are some pics. This is what comes in the box: Stock Signals with Rear Fender Chop SIDE VIEW LED Installed OFF LED Installed On Rear Fender Chop with LED Installed Finished Product I will say for under $80 and having the sequential turn signal option as well as the 3 quick blasts option when pressing the brake...these are HARD TO BEAT! I see no need on ordering any of the other higher priced ones as of right now. Any questions let me know!

With the 3 strobe pulse from the brake light while braking which you would do immediately before making your turn in most cases...I do not see how this would be less safe as the driver behind you would see that from a far distance...but again this is just my opinion and everyone will have their own.

I have this light on my R6, and have never had any problems with it. I went with the clear lens just to be a bit more visible. Wasn't sure about the strobe on the brake light at first, but the only thing anyone has said about it is.. "Hey I think your brake lights about to go out." as we're sitting at a stop light. On the up side at least I know it got their attention.
I told my son he has to ride with his factory signals on for awhile before I put one of these in his 250. He's a new rider and I just want to make sure he's as safe as possible.

I meant adding the tailight and removing his stock signals. His riding doesn't worry me (he's raced motocross since he was 4). It's the other people on the road that I'm worried about.

no amount of lights will get rid of that, turn signals or not, thus not much can be done besides being the best rider you can be.

Whats this black wire got going on here you think obviously the connectors but then what is that little black box thing? Fuse or resistor or something? I just got my light in and thinking of hoping to find the stock connectors and and copying that black wire im just not sure what it would be that i need.

I wasn't talking about safety inspections (although there is a minimum distance between signals, which IIRC is 7"). I was talking about fault and ticketing in the event of an accident.

DOT is a Federal regulation for someone to SELL an item as street legal. Once the item is purchased it is the State that takes over regulations. In IL..there are no motorcycle inspections, no helmet law and hell we don't even need turn signals to be legal LOL...crazy but true!! As long as you can see the brake light from 100 feet away it is legal in IL
