carb sync

I went over other post and hope I'm not overlooking this. Is there any reason I can't use two vacuum gauges to sync my carbs?

At a wild guess... because there's no guarantee the vacuum gauges are both calibrated in exactly the same way?

Ordinary manufacturing tolerances come into play here.

Simple physics will give greater precision, no?

Using vacuum gauges is a perfectly legitimate way of syncing carb's. Guys/girls with 4 cylinder bikes find that way especially easy and can sync their throttle bodies/carb's super quick.

Just verify the guages are equally calibrated

by switching the hoses and seeing if the readings follow the hoses or stay the same.
