Angled valve stem

Here is a cheap source for the angled valve stem some of you guys were looking for.

This is not me selling...I don't know the guy...I don't get anything from the sale...just passing on the info. I'm on the forum as well.

Thanks! My gauge is angled 90 degrees for the stock step-up, so I really don't NEED them.... but they are very nice looking. Now that I'm thinking about it, it will probably work even BETTER with my gauge.

Here is the updated link, they are now on special as well, for only $19.99

http://www.600rr.net/vb/showthread.php?t=248129

All Ninja's with factory wheels use 11.3mm sized valve stems.

Sorry no green ones. The made in Italy ones only come in Blue, Black, Silver, Red and Gold. Don't mistake these to the cheap Chinese knock-offs that are circulating around.

These will also fit older 250R models.

I wouldnt..... maybe if they come off in real nice condition you could. But, why would you wanna re-use them?? They kinda stay on the rim.... I removed some before to change colors and angle, the old ones didnt come off in nice shape.. I tossed'em.

You are right. These valve stems are good for a very long time, unlike the rubber valve stems which you should be changing with each tire change.

You won't need change these for many tens of thousands of miles, Goldwing riders love these for this reason, since they put quite a bit of mileage on their rides and change tires often.

Mine will be installed when I get my rims sand blasted and powder coated, but for that to happen I need to save up for some tires...

I'll likely buy a set of these with my next set of tires as well.

Is the 11.3mm size the same for the pre-gen? I'm assuming that's a standard size...

i bought a set in gold. The reason I got gold is to make finding the valve stems a little easier. And gold and green look good. And black and gold looks good too. Who knows...maybe it might make for some cool pictures if the photographer does it right

Oops. I revived a dead thread. I was looking for any recommendations for an angled stem because I hate the stock one. I have a hard time using my digital pressure meter.

Anyway, my fat finger hit "submit" while I was trying to fall back asleep.

But I ordered the black ones from this website. I didn't realize it was coming from Canada. We'll see how quickly it gets here. I just got my tires today and hope to get them mounted sometime next week.

just remember that since they're coming from canada you'll need to convert the air pressure from psi to kPa once you install them......

I got a pair of red ones from slowboy to match my bikes color, look and work great. make's checking with a digital gauge a breeze. Also, I like that there's a little piece of rubber in the cap to prevent it from being overtightened and never coming off.
