I did just order it, but be careful. The link on the slickdeals site takes you to the Hero3 Black Adventure edition, which I ordered. I realized a moment later that I wanted the Motorsports version instead. (same price, and mostly the same, but some slightly different accessories). I've emailed mountainsports to change my order to the correct edition, and hopefully they will be able to without too much trouble.

I found that I had an extra 64GB Class 10 microSDXC card sitting here already, so getting this instead of the Hero2 isn't going to be as much more expensive as it would have been otherwise.

The motorsport edition will probably come with the suction cup mount, just like how the surf edition comes with the surfboard mount in both Hero3/Hero2. We just need GoPro to confirm this is the case

I sent an email last night requesting my order to be changed to the Motorsports Edition (if it exists) and got a reply and order change confirmation this morning.

I have a feeling that the motorsports edition is the adventure version with just the label motorsports on the site. In fact I'll bet that the cameras we receive will say adventure version. Why else would gopro not list a motorsports edition but a 3rd party website would?

CHDMX-301
on the Surf Edition
CHDSX-301
I'll bet that the Adventure Edition is
CHDAX-301
