Front and Rear Stands

Since I have this desire to do most work on my bike myself, I'm going to need to purchase stands for it. What is recommended by those who have them?

I was looking at these, but I'm not sure the front stand would be better to lift from the tree or not.

Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

This is what I have. I have used them for my old SV650, Buell1125CR and the ninjette. I have had mine for over 4 years and never had a problem.

Awesome. How does the triple tree adapter work out on the front stand? I've seen some put unwanted pressure on the front fairing which is a bit disconcerting.lol

The page says that it's removable so if that's necessary, how stable is it just sitting on the stand?

google gpi industries and look for them on amazon. I have the one with the headlift attachment. 99% sure they are made in china/taiwan, but so are every other value brand ones. From my research, Pitbull are the way to go if you have $$$$ or if you believe in quality. Other than that, gpi are excellent for the money.

The stand doesn't touch the fairing so it can't put and pressure on it. I have never used the front without the headstand. With the bike on both stands it is completely stable.

Lol. Another one of these threads?
Pitbull if you want to drop that much money on a stand.
T-rex is good too. For the price of a pitbull rear you could get both rear and front from T-rex

lol Yeah, "another one." Gotta remember to search next time so I avoid receiving the large, instructional images.
