Cam chain tensioner lock screw lost

So I noticed today the lock screw that releases the spring pushrod is missing off my bike. I can pull one from my parts bike. Question is do I just screw it back in, or do I have to disassemble the cam chain tensioner and redo the pushrod and spring tension again. Thanks
