when does a rear shock need replacing?
My bike is approaching 40k miles, I don't know how worn my shock has got. Is this something that will need replacing soon? I have changed the fork oil once...

The rear shock absorber is not serviceable, but as long as the rebound is dampened and leaks are not visible, it is still good.
