Invisible Plastics Repair

A couple of weeks back, I fell off my little Ninjette. I was devastated. This bike has NEVER been on the ground in the seventeen (yes seventeen) years that I've owned it. I managed to scuff both the upper and lower cowling and crack the front guard. I've found it challenging to find anybody that does plastics repair. Most people just buy secondhand replacements rather than do repairs, but that's problematic for me because:

a) there aren't a lot of spare for my bike floating around (like I said, it's 17 years old), and
b) I now live in the UK, and this bike wasn't even available here until 2008 so spares are as rare as chicken teeth.

After a lot of searching, I found somebody that will do plastics repair and I'll be dropping it off next week. After that, I'll be replacing the other damaged parts - indicators, BOTH brake levers and end bars. In the meantime, I've done my own invisible repairs. You'll have to look hard to spot them though because they're pretty close to invisible.

LOL!

Sorry you laid her down but it's great that you found someone who can do an actual repair to the plastics.

I wouldn't even take it to get repaired. You did a great job, can't tell she dropped a bit!
In all seriousness glad you're ok, sorry about the bike, and look forward to seeing a pic of her after repairs.

It's not that tough to do plastic welding. A soldering iron and some ABS filler rod are all that are needed.
