250 ninja trike

What's up guys I thought I'd share my latest project powered by 07 250 Ninja. I think I might have posted it before when it was still under construction, but now that I have a few miles on it and it's more complete...

Lol, don't ever let me get bored with a welder and grinder. Here's a list of Parts in no particular order. Stock ninja front end, stock ninja engine, stock ninja tank, 1 inch rear go-kart axle, stock rear Ninja master cylinder, go-kart hub with motorcycle sprocket mounted, bucket seat from Jegs, rear trailer tires and rims that are rated for 1650 lb , suicide shifter with clutch, ammo box to hold Electronics, go kart rear disc that matches ninja rear caliper, and stock ninja exhaust that have been modified. And a few other things that I probably can't remember right now

Thanks! It runs good too. It grabs attention every where I go. No suspension in the rear can get annoying on rough roads but I take it on the freeway a lot it does pretty well. Top speed of 80 mph. The farthest I've ever driven it so far is about 60 miles over a mountain to the next town over.

Really cool!
So it's got a solid rear axle?

Was a solid rear axle I had to cut it in half, if I didn't the trike wouldn't turn it only go in a straight line. Axle runs on regular 1 inch bearings, 2 per side.

I bent the first axle I had in it. The wheels stuck out too far, so I replace the axle with a new one and moved the wheels in as far as they would go. I've hit big potholes I've sent the trike in the air on two wheels ran it all over rough roads, and have never bent the axle since

Correct, only the left wheel drives. Without a differential you cannot have two wheel drive on a street trike because the wheels will not slip enough on asphalt to turn. The only reason that old-school three-wheelers can get away with a solid rear axle and two wheel drive is because the wheels can spin over the terrain.

Sweet ride! Is this street legal? I would ride this for hours and never get tired!

Yes it's streetlegal, is does require some upper body strength to maneuver though. Here's is the new wing I built , adds horsepower they say... LOL
