Hello from upstate NY

Just wanted to say hello and that reading all the great information help to make up my mind and purchase this amazingly fun bike. I took ownership of brand new 2009 Candy thunder blue 250r on Saturday and could not wait for the rain to stop Sunday. This is my first bike and don't regret not getting a bigger bike it has plenty of power for me and it has been a blast to ride so far.

Hmmm. Are you the one that took the blue ninja out of Phibb's Power Sports then?
I went over there today to get my 600 mile service done and noticed it was gone.

Either way, good looking bike. I was very tempted to get that one over the black.

Welcome to the forum & enjoy the community.

Thank you Blue Raven for the definition of "ATGATT = all the gear all the time". I'm still completing my set up. Got the helmet, gloves & the Aero mesh jacket. Going to DE for the boots this Saturday, maybe. Hopefully but the time I complete my gear, I have money left for the bike.

For now, i'll just wear my helmet while driving my car - - lol.

Happy & safe ridin' ya'll.

Welcome.... And yes get the gear. It's sorta neat really to have to suit up like a racer every day you ride.

take care
