help with loading on trailer!
Tuesday I plan to haul my bike on a trailer, however I do not know the safest way to strap it down. Any suggestions?

If you can park the trailer such that the wheels are in a dip the rear height will be such that you can use a short length of board for a ramp, like a 2x6. I use a four point tie down with ratcheting straps, to the handle bars in front and to the passenger peg brackets in the rear. The straps and hooks should not contact anything but the tiedown points on the bike and the trailer.

Feed one end of the tie down through the handlebar mounting area and then back down. You should have no rubbing that way. That's the way I strapped down my bike two weeks ago when I bought it not running. Careful of the bottom of the bike potentially scraping. Try to make sure the ramp angle isn't too steep.
