Angeles Crest HWY Ride (ACH) 7/11
Took a ride with some friends from SCAR....
The bikes ranged from my 250 to a 1400....the Ninjette did pretty good.....I can't believe how sweet this thing corners...sure the bigger bikes get you on the straight away but wow this thing corners so smooooooth.....many of the sweepers I hit at 60-75mph.....much different that GMR....much nicer as the lanes are wider and the turns not as sharp! We went from Sunland to ACH to Newcombs to Wrightwood to the 15 to the 210....over 150 mile day..... Good ride....good friends...good times on a beautiful day in So Cali...... |

Like my old girlfriend liked it- we had to go "back door"--through Sunland Blvd off the 210 San Fernando Fwy.....

What is the altitude on those roads? It must be cold that high since I noticed you all are wearing helmets, jackets, and gloves.

We were about 5 to 6k up but man it was warm! We gear up for the sake of being safe. Lots of guys in power ranger suits as we were hitting some of those turns at 65+ speeds. The weather was near perfect considering we were bundled up pretty good. At one point I was sweating.
