Dealing with being away from the bike...

So this summer I'm out in Denver, CO for an internship and had to leave my bike behind in Missouri. So of course I've missed riding; almost missed it before I even left. What made it worse is Denver has so many more riders around than Missouri does. I'm constantly tortured by the sounds of bikes and the perfect riding weather. Not to mention the mountains have such amazing roads for riding....just don't get those curves back home.

Last weekend I went home for a day and a half for a family reunion and had the chance to ride again for the first time in 2 months. Logged about 150 miles in one day in addition to the reunion and had a blast. Now I'm back in Denver and can't help but watch motovlogs and whip my head around every time I hear a bike off in the distance. How do you guys deal with being away from your bikes when you have to?

Being away from your bike always blows. I was thrown off the saddle almost 5 months ago and still miss it as badly as day one. I too find myself string at bike as they go by. :/

I'd imagine this is similar to being away from a Gf/wife so the answer is pretty simple. Get a pocket pussy

I'm in O'Fallon for a couple weeks.

I'm away from my bikes too. So what I can do is put some miles on yours so it stays warmed up for you

Start riding track and you will never miss riding a motorcycle on the road again.

I just moved away from Denver for a job and I didn't get my bike till I moved. Now all I want to do is drive the bike up there so I can go on some of the canyon roads I know of. There are so many epic rides up there that I only got to expierence in a cage. Damn I miss Colorado
