Who woulda thought? Naked 650 looks great
This just popped up on the local CL.
http://newyork.craigslist.org/fct/mcy/3921449553.html Having ridden the 650 at a demo day last year I was not overwhelmed... I felt it was a transportation appliance without much character. But I have to admit, if you take her clothes off she looks pretty darned good.

ER-6n. looks way better than that, imo.
unfortunately they only sold them for a few years here in the US. A co-worker of mine just picked one up, and I've been considering selling my 250 for an ER-6n. They sell the current version in Canada. Not sure how easy it is to import a bike from Canada to the US. |

I dunno. Maybe it's the vestigial side fairing. Maybe it's the scooter-ish headlight. Maybe it's both. But I never really warmed up to the ER6n's looks

I will agree, I don't like the headlight too much, but i personally like it more than the round headlight of that pure naked.
either way, they're both miles better than the look of the 650, imo. |

Here's another guy who did the same thing. Naked frame looks good. I like the intake slots.

Those 650s have such a cool frame and swing arm design. That red one looks freaking awesome, I wish the 500s weren't so ugly naked or I'd do mine up like that. Keeping the fairing is the lesser of two uglys though lol.

More and more I'm starting to like the look of naked bikes.
