The threads in the 2 ebay forums should not be showing up within the new posts (unread post totals, or from clicking that unread post link). What are you clicking on where they are showing up?

The unread post it is saying I have 20,435 unread post. when I clicked on it I think almost every single post on the site is showing up

But are any of them in the eBay forums? There are a number of forums excluded from that search, including the eBay forums and the motorcycling news forums. It also limits it to threads that have new posts in the past 30 days, and considers any older than that, already read. (that's why you're seeing 20k instead of 500k+).

I rechecked the settings to make sure, and realized that I had it set on 60 days for unread posts; I'm not sure why that was ever changed. I put it back to 30 days for unread posts, which should speed the site up a little bit as well. There have been 16,400 new posts in the past 30 days, across all forums. But - forums excluded from that new posts total include:

- offtopic
- motorcycling news
- the ebay forums
- a few more backend/administrative forums

So the number a new user sees just joining the site is probably somewhere between 10k - 12k unread posts from the past 30 days. It's a reasonably busy site.

To tell you the truth like I try to tell said mod I did not think I was pushing the limits. After I got put on probation I was think I had been acting with in limits. I think said mod just wanted me gone you don't send a pm telling someone your going to ban them now that a mod is gone if I was doing something wrong I think he have sent me a pm in regards to what I had done wrong.
