Idle fluctuates
Just got the bike back together and a while after start up the idle will rise without any assistance from the user and it will only drop once given a quick twist of the throttle. It idles fine after start up at about 2000 RPM and will rise up to 3000 RPM where it will sit, it seems, until a bit of throttle is given, then it will drop below 2000 and come back up.
Any suggestions on the problem? Background on the bike: Just finished adjusting the valves/ replacing the cam chain/ cleaning the carbs (put back together properly). |

make sure all the clamps are tight and/or you didn't overlook a vacuum hose being loose or leaking.
