I'm actually going to school for mechanical engineering...my first year was alright. I didn't really start enjoying college until my second year.

16 credits on average every semester and for my final year I had 18 credits. It was a nightmare how much stuff I had to everyday (Projects, Homework, club commitments, exam studies, all of this simultaneously) . Plus I had to drive in ****** traffic for 35 miles everyday (often an hour drive because traffic sucked). I often had to stay at school till midnight my junior year. There was no room to have fun. Over breaks during my junior and senior years I had to even be ready to go to school to continue working on projects, but that wasn't terrible.

Don't get me wrong though I learned a lot and shared my suffering with my engineering friends who also suffered I look back at the projects I've done and I am very proud of those accomplishments. Now I'm just waiting for that job to appear to make it all worth it. Oh, I went to University of Colorado Boulder, just graduated. No matter the major you will always learn something significant, and if you have the time to enjoy the experience make the most of it!

Damn, it was more than three years ago when I started college. Time flies by so quickly.

Biggest regret was becoming an officer of a club my sophomore year. Way too much commitment. At least it's a few lines on my resume now.

I graduated from college . . . in 1987, which from what I can see is before a lot of you were born.

I rode in college a lot. My first bike, which I had as a freshman:

Upgraded to this my Sr. year, loved this bike, is still one of my favorite bikes ever owned:

Anyways, enjoy your college years! They are a unique time, they go by quickly and once they are gone they are gone forever.

Freshman year was sooo fun, but my gpa took a hit. My gpa throughout college each semester was definitely inversely proportional to how much fun I had.

Just got a D- on a paper, which is ****ing bullshit. Half the class failed this paper as well, with a few overachievers getting A's. The teacher is treating us as if we were grad school researchers.

Ahh, here was another funny thing. My teachers seemed to love when people failed their exams. The class average for our exams sometimes would be 60s just because the prof. decided to be an ass. One time we had a C average and prof. told us he'll have to make the next exam harder. I was like WTF the class did okay on the exam but not amazing and you want to make it harder? The hell is wrong with you lol.

Just keep your GPA above your BAC and you'll be fine.

Did I miss something around here? You're the 2nd person to have my name in their weird signature.

I know a couple people that go to LB right now but they're transfer or grad students.

Perhaps. This thread should make things come into focus (if you read down it far enough).
