Problems with ignition lock

Has anyone else experienced problems with the ignition lock? Even after I turn my front wheel completely to the left, I am often not able to engage the lock. I twist the key to the left and down, but it doesn't quite turn all the way over to the lock position. I'd say this happens about 90% of the time. The times where it does turn all the way, I am able to lock and unlock repeatedly. Any thoughts?

I usually wiggle and the wheel locks somewhere halfway - it doesn't have to go all the way to the left.

After fully turning the wheel to the left, push down and turn the key to the lock position while turning the handlebars a bit to the right. That should do the trick...I hope.

Mine ignition will not lock in the full left position. I just turn it then put the key in and try to lock it and slowly turn the handle bars to the right until it will properly lock

Yea I felt stupid for the first week I had mine untill I realized you had to nudge it to the right an inch untill it locks
