I should be receiving my light smoke zg db on Wednesday. Wished I had seen islanderman7's pics before I had ordered it. It looks awesome.

Yes, the dark smoke does look really good on the black ninja.

I'll get my pics up in a few days (light smoke on red bike).

About a week ago I ordered the dark smoke db for my red also. I must say that blacked out windshield look is just sick! It should be here any day now. I've got so many parts floating around in USPS limbo its crazy...

Thanks for the pictures. I want to get the same windscreen and my bike is blue too so your pictures gave me a good view of what it will look like. Looks great imo. I'm going to order mine next week and I will put some pictures up then too just in case we might need some more.

Got mine in the mail yesterday and installed it. Definitely makes the bike look alot more slick. I just have to get used to not being able to see through that thing at all at night...

Okay, I know that the double bubble looks terrific, now I want to know other that how it looks does it give better wind protection? If so, is there a significant difference to make it worth while?

Well, I have the Puig, but in my opinion, yes it's much better! I was getting hit in the chest with the wind and almost felt like some of the bigger gusts would take me off the back, and now I feel like it's hitting on the visor or maybe just going over the top - it's much better!

Good to know, thank you. My husband has a double bubble Puig on the ZX14 and he swears that he noticed a difference but I wasn't sure if it would be the same with the seat positioning and bar placement on the 250.

A lot depends on how tall you are where the air blast will hit. It does make it so that you can tuck out of the wind with less bending if you are inclined to do so.

i just came back from a ride and while i was on the freeway going about 65 mph, i was trying to figure out exactly where the wind was hitting me. i was moving my left hand up and down. when i sit in my normal riding position, it hits me at my collar bones/neck. i wish it was a bit higher or lower, because sometimes my neck gets a bit uncomfortable with the wind hitting it like that... so, if i duck down a bit, it will hit me in the faceshield instead.

Here are some pics of a ZG double bubble dark smoke on a red bike for those who want to visualize it. Sorry about the resolution.

As far as function goes, it helps reduce the wind that hits you. I'm 5'6 and all the wind seems to glance off the top of my helmet now with a moderate tuck.

I've been planning to get a zg double bubble for Fury too. It's a slightly different install, so should I make a different DIY or just post a little year change section here?

I say do your own and post it up in the pregen section. The more the merrier and it would be more specific for that model.

Gotcha. I'll do it if someone doesn't beat me to it. Got an exhaust and a rearset to get first.

My ZG dark smoke dbl bubble arrived today after I got in from my ride, put it on (only took a couple of minutes) and went out again. Huge difference...I am only 5'3", the wind went right over my head.

5'8" and although I do feel a difference, and like it, I think the winds still hits me at least in the sholders..... unless my belly is on the tank of course.

Funny though, I can't remember where it hit me with the stock shield now. I think there is a low-pressure zone at times on the the freeway, makes me want to stick my head in more or out.... I almost don't notice it anymore though.

Those allen screws fit a 5MM nut out of my toolbox, so I would assume it is a M5 wellnut.

some of you with really good memories may recall that mine didn't come with any sticker on it. it looked really bare to me. i tried putting red pinstriping on it, but took it off after a couple days.

i ended up getting a "kawasaki" sticker made by caboose over on kawiforums. i gave him the dimensions of the oem windshield screen decal. i think it looks great! funny how something so small can just finish off a detail.

thanks. it is actually door edge guard for cars. i tried doing it along the whole top, but the curve was too sharp, so i trimmed it off at the corners. i think it gives the windscreen a bit more visual interest.

thanks jordan. i was debating doing my screen name in the "kawasaki" font, but decided to just stick with the oem look.

people who don't know what the stock bike looks like may think i just smoked the stock windscreen.

Dark smoke ZG DB on a black bike.

Dark smoke ZG DB on a black bike. That's not me... I have hairy legs, and I don't wear girl sneakers nor short shorts... no, not even on weekends.

I copied you with the logo. I ordered an oem sticker when I ordered my fairing. Just need to install it now. I also like the trim Gary. Nice touch. I'll have to steal that idea too.
