just spraypainted them with ordinary glossy black. just remember to clean them good and use some alcohol to remove any fat before painting

looks real good. +1 for posting a vid. I'm thinking it might sound better than the modded stockers too.

for anyone considering this mod, you might want to read this thread and ask Mike questions.

I did mine a few weeeks ago and can tell you it's LOUD. When your on the bike it doesn't seem so loud but everyone tells me they can hear me way before I get there. I think it's better looking than any of the pipes currently available which was the main reason I did it.

you think there's a way to incorporate the baffle that comes w/ the gsxr exhaust cleanly?

if you look @ the stock gsxr exhaust, there's a thing that's attached before it that muffles the exhaust sound, probably much more than the can that is attached to your bike.

there is a big catalyst , but that need to be cut away, it is very big so there would be no room to fit it...

I was just subscribing to the thread.
I am planning on this mod but need more information about how it will work with an aftermarket header, intake, etc. I am curious about the inside diameter of the can compared to the header I have.... Thanks! |

What is the inside diameter?
I found a place to pick up universal baffle and fiberglass wrap but I need to know what the inside diameter is of the GSXR can so I can buy the right size... I'm cross posting in the GSXR can threads.... don't kill me. |
