Smile 91 zzr 250 fuel in the oil help

hi guys i got a major problem i seem to have a sump full of mixed fuel and oil how has the fuel got in there and how do i fix this problem when the bike runs i pisses out the left hand side near gear lever please guys how do i fix this issue ive just dropped the oil but dont want to put clean oil in till i stop the prblem can you guys help

Replace/rebuild the petcock and the float valves in the carbs.

You're welcome!

We know the float valves are bad because there is fuel in the oil. They are letting fuel past and not shutting off when the fuel in the bowls reaches the proper level.

We know the petcock is bad because it has to be leaking with the bike off to get that much fuel in the oil, which it shouldn't because of the vacuum petcock.

Easy way to test is to pull the fuel line and see if fuel comes out even with the bike off and the petcock OFF. Should be no fuel coming out EXCEPT for the PRIME position.

^^^ this. I experienced the same problem. Easy fix as long as you are a little mechanically inclined.
