What do you think of these bikes ?

So I'm still on a hunt to find a new bike to replace my ninja.
I've set my sights on "supermoto" type bikes, mainly because of insurance reasons (I can't go over 600cc unless I want to pay two grand a year...), but also, supermotos look awesome.

I've found this ad of a bike being sold in my area. It's a 2003 KTM LC4 640, (rebuilt ?).

Can you guys check it out and give me an opinion ? (as in, is the money worth it, or would you stay away?).

AND, here is one more that I'm considering:

I wouldn't recommend the Husqvarna. That one is from the BMW days. They are sweet bikes, but getting parts for it in the future will be near impossible.

The KTM's are good but I would try to find something a little newer.

Both bikes are priced too high IMO.

So I went and saw the Husqavarna today.

It turned out to be ok. Just ok. I mean, it wasn't mint, but it wasn't trash either.

There were some issues, like a bit of a gasket (?) leak on the left side of motor... , left flash bulb on back burned out, and speedo gauge flickering from vibration (but when you push down on it, its good, so loose connection??) lol.

It sounded solid when running and revving up, no rattling, ticking or other red flag noises.

I told him if he could get that leak checked out and get the bike saftied/inspected with paper work, I would buy it off him for 4,400 (dropped from 4,600).

I'm really digging this bike.
Supermotos are so damn rare to find here in Toronto (except for the handful of DRZ400's all selling for 6 grand plus.)

**Side note, he said he "made a mistake" on the ad, and instead of a 2006, the bike is actually a 2007.... yay ?

Just get ready to spend 2 grand a year on maintenance.

That's probably not true but it might be. Idk. Don't have any experience with either bike or their manufacturer.

I'm not about trying to get KTM or Husqvarna parts or dealing with all that god damn aluminum and mineral oil.
