41078 Replacement (i.e. the speedo gear assembly)

Does anyone know of an aftermarket replacement for the speedometer gear housing? (Part 41078)

This would be for race applications where the speedometer cable is not used.

Up until now I've been using the oem gear housing, but I just discovered that it's very brittle (casted steel?), so it needs to be replaced. Yep, it's way broken...

Any ideas, suggestions?

I was told there is no replacement, I'm in the process of finding something that will work, but I haven't tried to hard yet.

It's just a spacer at this point. Find the right ID tubing and cut it to the correct length.

That was my idea, but with the 3 minuets I looked, I couldn't find metric tube.
