Salvaged Ninja 400 on Track

Managed to snag a salvaged Ninja 400 recently. Put some money into getting it track ready with racing in mind, took to Apex Racing Center here in Socal with my friend who just claimed second in the CVMA 500 Supersport championship, also on a Ninja 400 but with street fairings. He unfortunately crashed early in the day, but helped get some clips on my camera and give some pointers.

Link to original page on YouTube.

Great post Tom!

(but I'd rather hear the engine sound than that music)

That's awesome! Great video quality and so many different point of views. I too, would love to have heard some engine noise, or other things relating to the races. Good job nonetheless!

Thanks for the input. The sound was terrible, and i don't record sound on my own action cameras because its even worse. all of the engine sounds you hear are from Geoff's 400 which was following me, and the few views from my camera on the side of the track. i personally liked the music, was going for a similar vibe to Kawasaki promo vids.

You made a really good video, but even silence would be better than that repetitive music. On the other hand, I guess I can cause that at my end.

Could you provide links to videos with music you like? I specifically changed my music over a year ago and paid for a premium service that has royalty free music for YouTube creators. I choose this song because it sounded like Kawasaki style promo vids, and specifically wasn't repetitive to me. I changed my music selection a year ago because I had several people comment this same thing.

Tom, I appreciate it, but you don't need to use music I like. I do prefer videos like that to just have the natural sounds of what's happening. But you made a very good video, and if I don't want to hear music you choose, I'll turn my sound down and enjoy the video.

I'm just trying to get an idea as to what my audience likes music wise, since the onboard audio is trash. it sounds like if you were to put a microphone next to a giant mosquito that'd smoked for 40 years and was trying to escape a trash can lol.
