New Bike in the Family 2007 SV650!!!
Picked her up today. 2007 SV650S.
Had just enough time to unload the trailer, almost drop her twice and then take a few pics before thunderstorms rolled in (heard a crack of thunder followed by the sound of dozens of motorcycles frantically racing to get somewhere before the rain!) Bike is in good cosmetic shape but needs some tlc on the maintenance side. seller didn't have rear lift or spools on the swingarm and the chain reflects neglect. Tires have some dry rot set in. Front brake seems like it has seen better days as well. I'm going to flush all the fluids then take her to the dealer for brakes and tires and before long I'll be ready to rock. First impressions: 1. My ninja feels tiny after being on this thing. Need to address the seat height because at 5'6" (5'9" if a lady is asking) I'm on my toes and its a bitch to park. 2. Viper slip on sounds mean. The engine growl is impressive if not intimidating and the pipe just takes it to a whole new level. 3. Need bar risers asap only because I commute daily and the position will get old faster than me. But it is a nice attack position for aggressive riding. 4. Love the digital cluster and look of the instrument panel. When it stops raining I'll be able to get some riding in, but for now enjoy some pictures... |

Thats my least favorite view of it. She's got a nice ass though and that's good enough for me. I just try not to look at her face.
