Still have the ninjette, not sure for how long...

So... started the season early on the Ninja...

...and one month ago picked up a decrepit 1987 KLR650 for $750... another $300 and she's got all the lights she didn't come with, and a fairing, and, uh, actually runs... oh and a shiny new license plate and registration!

One fellow on ADVrider joked last year how I should get one of these, they're the only thing slower than a Ninja 250

(So far, it's not... torque to burn comparatively although it runs out of revs sooner)

they are great to have together. I have had my KLR (High compression 685,feels slower, but way faster than the 250) for years and added the ninja to it last year

And it's done, sold the Ninja yesterday to a middle-aged fellow looking for his first bike.

Still have the KLR, money from the Ninja sale is going towards my Grampa's last bike, a '97 Virago with a trunkload of accessories.

If your planning on selling the KLR someday, PM me I've been looking for one for awhile, I'm looking for a project.

It's more fixed up and ridden since then. Do get one though, they're great!
