New Upgrades - Fender Eliminator, Tank Pad, Tank Overlay Stickers
I have done some of my top cheap mods that I've wanted to do.
So far: Have the tank sticker overlays on my tank. Love the solid black look. Cant tell they are even there unless your right on top of them. IMG_2508.jpg IMG_2509.jpg Did the fender eliminator chop, just did it myself so I wouldn't be spending a stupid amount of money on something you can do yourself for free. IMG_2505.jpg I also got a super nice tank pad that had 4 separate pieces, two main sticker that go straight in the middle and then two smaller pieces that I set more on the side of the tank to cover up a small dent in the tank and it worked perfect. IMG_2510.jpg IMG_2507.jpg IMG_2506.jpg Also took off the Ninja Stickers. I spent about 40 bucks and love the difference it has made in changing it into a solid clean simple black bike. |

Looks great. The tank stickers turned out better than I thought they would. You must have a steady hand because they look perfect. I did the same thing to my rear fender, but ditched the reflectors. I also couldn't justify the money for a fender eliminator. Keep up the good work

Lookin' good.
I am sure it's gonna look even sexier once those flush mounts get in.

Good stuff dude. Looks nice. I just did a fender chop like yours, and I installed an alarm as well. Have fun!

Are you still doing the red grill inserts on the bike. You can chop that fender off even further and get a bolt light kit in black and a L bracket and make a plate mount for under $10 bucks.
Check this out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TisxFiNAvhc watch around the 2:55 mark for the fender cut. And this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=svkbvonJSGA this is what I am doing without the rear turn signals. |
