Pre-gen ninja and ZZR exhausts interchangeable?

Hey,

Im looking into either getting a yoshi RS3 pipe or a Two Brothers dual slip on system. I can only find on ebay systems for EX250 87-08 models. Does this mean just the ninja250 pre gen, or does it include my EX250-H? (my zzr)

We both have dual exhausts and the same engines, so i assume they would fit?

This link makes it appear that they would be interchangeable...

*SOMEWHAT* interchangeable. The head pipes will bolt up and the general elevation of the mounts at the rear will be correct, however the ZZR/EX250H is wider at the swingarm and rear, and the leading edge of the can (at least on the muzzy 2-1) will foul the swingarm on the right. It can be spaced outward, but leaves the end of the can sticking out on an angle that is not appealing. In addition, the lower fairing bracket (oil pan mounted one) will need to be spaced down with longer bolts, the side mounts will need to be spaced out with bits of aluminum bar stock or similar, and the fairing will not really fit all that well. A center stand stop will need to be fabricated, although the oft mentioned interference at the spring does not occur on the ZZR.

My recommendation having played a great deal with the Muzzy and now taken it off, is to get slip on pipes as opposed to a head back 2 into 1, as they will not alter the fit of the fairing up front and should not alter the attachment at the rear of the bike. While the weight savings of the Muzzy was attractive, the power gains were not particularly significant and I tired of the drone.

Cheers,
