Service Manual and Carburetor Question

Hey, I recently got a 2012 ninja 250 and am doing some maintenance before I start riding it. I have never dealt with a carburetor before, so that is all new to me.

I found an online PDF of the service manual, it appears to have everything there, but here is nothing about the carburetor when using CMD+F to search.

So I'm here to hopefully get some information regarding that, is there a different term the manual uses instead of carburetor? or do they simply skip out on it?

Also, the manual I found online supplies fairly poor pictures when describing what to do, most other manuals I've dealt with have diagrams and not black and white photographs.
If there is any other manual that is more helpful in that sense I'd appreciate any recommendations.

If the PDF file you have is just a scan of the paper one, the search function won't work. You may be stuck going by the table of contents and/or the index and looking for it the old fashioned way.

3-12 onwards is everything about servicing the carburetor, your PDF doesn't have text indexed.

I solved my own problem in regards to why there is no mention of a carburetor in that manual, it was the service manual for the European fuel injected model.

Does anyone have a source for the US 2008-2012 ninja 250 service manual?
I originally planned on purchasing the service manual, but once I found the online one, I am less inclined to fork over $80 just for info on the carb.
