Just wondering if we should where cups or at least a good athletic supporter/jock-strap while riding.

Holy great balls of fire!!!!!

Actually there was the one time that I stalled my bike at a stop light. That sent stars shooting in front of my eyes. Then there's that unexpected pot hole you didn't see. Those aren't much fun either.

lol @ pic...
to OP: I'm just thinking of the plastic cup touching the seat/tank and the vibrations that would cause.... keeps me from tryin it!
Proper knee grip/positiong will help you not slide forward, as for bumps/holes.. get your ass off seat if you can

Hehehe. It's not practical, and would be more painful than it's worth, so it was sort if a tongue-in-cheek post/question, but I thought people would have fun with it

Also T-I-C, but I wonder what the incidence of motorcycle related injuries is
It would be awful to leave yer, uh, "man-parts" hooked on a bar end a-la a bull horn I won't be gettin' any of those spikey bar ends (or any other bike-mounted spikes) any time soon(or doing any bull riding)

this is why you dont sit directly against the tank... maintain a 1-2 inch gap.

I only know of motocross riders who wear a nuttybuddy regularly. Street riding though, I don't really see a point. Since you're sitting all the time and not standing it would start to hurt quite a bit after a short time.

This thread actually stayed "clean" longer than I thought it would, with such an obvious topic...

Hey cowboy, you're a jerk.
Do you go around insulting everyone who asks a question that YOU think is stupid? If so, I imagine you've got your hands full on this forum, because YOU are bound to find a LOT of the questions here "stupid". Thankfully, most people here seem to be VERY patient, understanding, and, above all, generous with their time. If you don't have the time for "stupid" people, just don't respond to their "stupid" questions. We stupid people will get by just fine without you.

CC where's his cup backwards then drinks out of it.

Otter-ignore CC he's got issues- his momma didn't hug him enough as a small child. Its not his fault-over time he will grow on you like a scab after a lowside.

CC is seeing a therapist these days so we know he's in treatment.

Hands-down, CC is the one poster who consistently makes me chuckle on this board. If you imagine him typing with a smirk with one hand while holding a beer in the other hand, with a goal of nothing other than making you spit something at your screen, it starts to gel much better.

(it doesn't hurt that he's forgotten more about bikes & racing than most of the folks here will have a chance to learn)

Anyway, no, a cup is not a good idea.

Honestly, as I said above, the question was tongue in cheek

I won't take it personally, but really, no one likes to be called stupid.

By the way, it's Dr. Otter

(but I'd prefer to be called just "Spence" )

Truce, CC?

Hope so. I look forward to getting to know you
