PICKERINGTON, Ohio — The American Motorcyclist Association offer its condolences to the friends and family of Kelly Owen, who served on the American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation board of directors from 2010 through 2013. The AMHF oversees the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame.

Mr. Owen was a lifelong AMA member, motorcycle rider, racer and restorer. He operated The Owen Collection, a vintage-motorcycle museum in Walnut, Calif. He also was president and CEO of Clarion Construction Inc. in Walnut, Calif.

“This is a sad day for the motorcycling community,” said AMA President and Chief Executive Officer Rob Dingman. “We will be forever grateful for Kelly’s service to our organization and salute his passion for motorcycling and his willingness to devote his time and energy to help preserve the rich history of motorcycling.”

Mr. Owen was 58 and living in Southern California at the time of his passing.
