I'd like to go, but I'll be out of town. It's my 25th wedding anniversary and my wife might be a tad miffed if I blew it off to go to look at bike parts, lol.

Well I have to agree, but it's learning not act on my first instinct that got me thru 25 years. I remember our first years together when she got a perm and I said she looked like a poodle.

It didn't go over so well. Lesson learned: If you're going to put your foot in your mouth, wear better tasting shoes!

I think it's just an overstock sale.

You guys would be surprised the old gear chaparral has laying around.
they have a back room full of stuff too even after all that inventory on the floor.

One thing you'll notice about chaparral is they have TONS of OLD stuff too.
They end up having to clear stuff out all the time and send overstock back.

I would estimate chaparral has 4x the stuff in stock that Bert's does as far as stuff that isn't motorcycles. I don't think Bert's has masses of inventory in the back room and old stuff too like Chaparral does.

They dropped their Dianese line completely and sent it all back because I was the only person buying any of it. lol. Most people don't spend $500 for just their pants. Fortunately, they don't know what they are missing..
