'03 ex250 front end works on 04 ex500?

hello ninjettes how are you, hey im looking to buy a 04 ex500 with front end damage, at the same time i found a guy that is selling a front end off a 03ex250, I'm very familiar with mechanics, and i had my own shop a while back, but i wouldnt really know if the front end from a 250 fits a 500... any idea.. thanks!!

I run a 1994 500 front on my 2005 250. I think it bolted right up, no issues. The keyhole is a slightly different shape, as are the handlebars if you keep them from the 250 And just swap the master cylinder. I have pics in my latest ride reports here or on skippii.com Getting the Suzuki DR350 front on the 500 was more difficult.

Pre-gen forks are notorious for being soft and pogo-y. That will be worse on a heavier bike. Plus, pre-gen forks hold 16" wheels.
