I bought the Pontiac for 1k$ two days before I left for Thailand. Now that I am back I've done a bit of work on it and driven it a lot. It handles superbly, accelerates strong and stops on a dime. I really enjoy it.

It's brutish big brother the z28 though. 6spd lt1 w a mild top end build ....
Yes it pulls hard and yes it is good haha

Haha . I told her I bought the z28 after she was a little tipsy while we were out w friends . It was perfect timing . She saw the fun side of it. Now I told her I want to get a limo .... She told me I better not lol.

I think I will stop while I am ahead.

No more Cl for a while.

Sold my '68 when I joined the army :/
Bought a bike and a truck, haven't got around to getting a car again yet. Plenty of bad g8's, gto's, and birds around

Uh, Those are F-Bodies. Y-body is Corvette and XLR. I never liked them, myself. Too heavy and the blind spots are immense. So bulgy, all fiberglass and plastic. Feels like driving an empty hot tub down the street.

That said, they're a great choice if you want to go fast in a straight line on a budget. Dirt cheap with a plethora of cheap aftermarket go fast bits.

As for the others, I remember the "new" GTO having a great red leather interior, but a stupid steering wheel. That's about all I can say about it. Never drove one.

I raced a G8 GT in my subie once and was really impressed. Hung with me over 1/4 mile by half a car length but let off before the bend in the road. Maybe it's just because it looked so unassuming but it was surprisingly quick. You still couldn't get me into one though. Overall they're uninspired and overpriced.

@CynicalC

Haha thanks F body

I always hated on the pony cars but I got them cheaper than a bike so I live like its not what I get or how I get it ...

It's how much fun I have with it.

I've ripped a Gto with the 5.7 and its quick .

As for the G8 . Over priced ? Maybe

But it's got refinement

You are going about it all wrong.

What we want to hear is this:

"My gf said I don't need any more motorcycles, so I found a good deal... on a new girlfriend."
