Ninja 300 converted to look like a 636.

It's just replacing the front fairing to give it the look of a 636.

We purchased the kit from EmpireMoto, the installation took about 3 hours, because we had to trim some of the the fiberglass tabs. I shrunk the installation process down to 3 mins. in the video

Hahah, video was surprising entertaining to watch. Looks good! Color is a little off, but still looks nice. I wished you got more pictures of it at different angles.

this makes me wonder how hard it would be to get the 300 face on a 250

Watching the video, you see me taking pictures of the process.

Here they are.

The fit isn't OEM perfect, but you get the idea in the end.

We needed to trim some of the excess fiberglass and it mounted.

Part cost with shipping and taxes was $62.00
Installation and tip was $10.00

Alex,

There's a kit being sold for the 250R, it made in Japan therefore pricier. It made by SAITANIYA.

You'll need to buy additional oem parts to complete the "look". This is what is written on the site selling it.

--------------------------------------------
$208.00 usd
Material: FRP
for Street Old (12 Models) For the Ninja250R. In the type exchanged only Headlight Comp
Use genuine ones under cowl.
Headlight is-13 models use Ninja250 genuine headlight.
This product in addition to genuine Kawasaki parts.
● 23007-0174 Headlight Comp
● 23008-0-13 Model 6 Socket ash beam
● 23008-0-13 Low beam model 5 Socket ash
Required. Prepare H7 valve valve porting your stuff now?.
------------------------------------------

I did a quick search and came up with this.

23007-0174 (230070174) LENS-COMP EX250LDF $104.69 usd (Thailand)

Kawasaki Parts house lists the part at : $278.39 usd

In comes in either white of black, so you'll need to paint it to match your existing bodywork.

Are you using the stock headlight or the one from the 636?

I agree, that looks pretty nice on the ol' 250. In my opinion the only real eye sore with the ninja 250 is that headlight, and this mod would remedy that.

True. I looked into getting it myself but wasn't able to this season. It looks tempting but you'd have to get the 6R's headlights too for it work.
Next season maybe :P

Well how about they pop out the mesh and mount a camera in there, that would be pretty cool, I think. Or they can just say they've got ram air for their gauge cluster

Was talking about the green one. I know the 636 headlights will fit the 300.

ninjamunky85,

What would be the differences between the two headlights?

The 300 headlights have standard reflective housing. The 636 headlights have halogen projectors.

Yup, I have a friend that swapped his stock 300 headlights for the 636 ones. They look cool, but it's not a mod that's really worth the $$$ to me.

My bike is the black one, his is the white one and has the 636 headlights

I have HID projectors on my 250R, and if you like to do night riding, it's well worth the investment.

BUT that is a very interesting mod. Which year model doe sit belong to?

Am I the only one who like how the stock ninja 300 headlights look? Could be brighter, but as for aesthetics I think kawi did a wonderful job.
