Here’s your chance to own a piece of history. It’s not often you find a significant motorcycle for sale in mint condition like this 1986 Suzuki GSX-R1100. The owner, a collector and restorer in his own right, bought it from someone who had maintained this completely original bike, even down to the tires. The problem was that it was dropped on its right side.

After sourcing all the neccessary NOS parts, the classic GSX-R was repaired back to its original glory. It’s important to distinguish that this bike has never been restored, only repaired. Best of all, it has less than 5000 miles on the original odometer. In fact, as the seller notes, “The bike is completely dry – no gas, no oil, clutch, or brake fluid. The motor has fogging oil sprayed in the cylinders and in the spark plug holes. There was fogging oil sprayed in the exhaust (both ends) as well.”

This GSX-R1100 is about as original as you would have found in the dealerships 27 years ago, even down to the break-in stickers on the odometer.
