Any DIY's on fitting a PC5 to my ninja 250 ?

Just got one, im assuming/hoping it comes with decent instructions for semi-noobs ?

I havent seen anything in the DIY stickies on here.

Also got a K&N filter, going to have a bash at that too.

Not much info comes up on Power Commanders for the new-gen (2008-2012). FI was only available in some overseas markets, so for most folks on this site, that generation bike was still carbureted. I do know there was one member in the UK that put a PC on his new-gen, but @Gregular hasn't been to the site in a bit. Some info in this thread:

They are super straight forward man, your going to unplug the injector wires and replace them with the power commander wires and then plug the stock plug into the other end of the PCV. They are just piggy back wires so they take info in, modify that info and send it out. It may or may not have a crank position hookup as well which will be near your stator wires, it is a black connector with two wires.

Make sure you hook up the PCV GROUND wire, it will have an eyelet on it and you can either go straight to battery ground or remove a bolt going to the frame and install it there. Battery is prefered.

Than mount the PCV module wherever it is easiest to get access to it, most people run it in the tail sections with no issues.

Hope that somewhat helps
